Project AK47 – Cannes Lions Shortlist

I handled the entire end-to-end production independently, executing the creative direction, narrative video editing, motion graphics, and tactile paper animations. I also created all hand-drawn sketches, shot the product photography for memory inserts, and managed the complete voice-over production and sound design.

Project overview

  • Creative direction and narrative video editing
  • Motion graphics, transitions, and tactile paper animation
  • Hand-drawn sketches and custom illustrations integrated into the letter
  • Product photography and image processing for memory inserts
  • Voice-over production, ambient mixing, and sound design

This video was created in an attempt to raise awareness of children being used as soldiers in SE Asia and Mexico. All it takes is $7 a month to give one of these kids their childhood back, to rescue and rehabilitate. We hope you find this video shocking, because the reality is far more disturbing.
